So I gessoed each side of the paper about 5 or 6 times, to create a non-porous surface. So that's what I'm using for some oil adventures in painting! :-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05743900480139515536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2981842043164199296.post-1553393493000297942010-02-26T12:57:52.688-07:002010-02-26T12:57:52.688-07:00As always, Paz, I thank you for being such a faith...As always, Paz, I thank you for being such a faithful and encouraging follower!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05743900480139515536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2981842043164199296.post-60670878858763212462010-02-26T12:14:08.527-07:002010-02-26T12:14:08.527-07:00What a truly felt sunflower. all the petals are so...What a truly felt sunflower. all the petals are so genuinely seen.
I love how crammed and cropped it is on the canvas.
A beautiful portrait of a singular flower.

From your later post- what kind of paper are you using for your oils?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2981842043164199296.post-12187701733879165622010-02-23T06:43:30.279-07:002010-02-23T06:43:30.279-07:00I love the final outcome of your painting.
