Albino Bird???

No - not really, just a not-yet-painted bird. I'm taking guesses as to what kind of bird this is going to be... and the winner gets a link from my blog! (hahaha)

Another few days and this one will be done. As usual, my problem is finding the time to paint. Does anyone else who works full time and paints in the evenings come home too tired to do much? Maybe more vitamins would help!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Looks like a chickadee to me.

I, too, find it difficult to find the time and the energy to paint. In fact, my paints dry up or rot faster than I can use them! But maybe that's what keeps painting a sweet thing...distance makes the heart grow fonder.

Wow, the red leaves are beautiful! Can't wait to see the final product!

And, you've been tagged! If you want to play the game, come to my blog and read all about it. Enjoy! Theresa

Hmmmm. A sparrow? I dunno.

I love the red foliage in the background - really pops the green!

I hope that once you settle back into your groove and Christmas is over (which is such a busy season) you will find more energy and time to paint! :)

Hi Kim,
I am amazed at all you accomplish with 3 young children, a husband, your work, your blog, AND painting!!!! Each one of your spectacular paintings is well worth waiting for, believe me! Oh, and those rotten dried up paints? How about asking for new, fresh paints for Christmas? :-)

Hi Theresa!

Thanks for the tag... I will have to respond to it later this weekend - I have to do some thinking first... always a time consuming thing, that thinking thing!
And thanks for the comments. I am hoping the bird turns out as well as the rest of the painting. I am really liking this one so far. :-) Hooray!

Good guess, Michelle - but no, it's not a sparrow. Kim thought it would be a chickadee, but it is not that either!

Yup - I hope for more energy soon too. You won't believe this, but I came home from work last night, and was asleep on the couch before 8:00 p.m. I only woke up long enough to get up and go to bed! However, today I completely cleaned the painting area of my studio, and revamped/rearranged everything and hung several paintings which have been sitting around leaning against a wall.

Now I feel like I am organized enough that I can take advantage of even 30 minutes to get some painting done. I feel like I can start the bird in this watercolor and have peace as I am painting. What a feeling of relief!
