NEW TEXTURED ACRYLIC

Untitled
12" x 12" textured acrylic on canvas

I have begun another textured acrylic series, this time with the iridescent color of copper. This series is also on larger canvasses - 12" x 12" so the paintings have quite a bit more visual impact. I am really pleased with how this first one has turned out...

I haven't named this piece yet. If you have a name you think would suit, let me know in a comment here. I would love to have your input. :-)

I am an aspiring painter, and I am told my work has promise of success. I have not been able to venture far out enough to test that theory. I am still trying to find my comfort in painting. I love acrylics and textures. I have been racking my brain trying to find a ways to do an acrylic textured painting on canvas. I found your work and I love it! how do you create such powerful textures? What sort of objects do you fancy to create such beauty?

Thanks for leaving a comment here...I would love to share some of my process for my textured acrylics with you...but it would be too much information to put here on my blog. Why don't you email me, and I can share more about my inspiration and methods of creating in an email? Here is the email address: info@joannegiesbrecht.com
