A few years ago, my daughter-in-law gave me an image that I found so sweet that I wanted to paint it at some point. I finally got the photo out and began this rendering of it in pastel and charcoal. (The drawing is on grey paper which I rather like in this case.)
The boy is bending down and picking some dandelions in a field of grass and blossoms. He is so intent on his purpose that he seems oblivious to everything else. I hope to complete this within the week. I'll post the finished results.
