What a wonderful way to end 2012! We met with Bruce and Rhonda to deliver the portrait of their adult kids which I had been working on for the last month or so. We had a lovely lunch together, and then just before leaving the restaurant parking lot, I snapped a photo of them with the painting. It is already on the mantle of their fireplace, in the central place of honor. It truly was a thrill to see the excitement of this wonderful couple when they first saw the painting. It was just THE BEST way to end a year of painting.
I wish each of you a very Happy New Year. May your greatest desires and highest goals be achieved in the days and months ahead, and may your joy and contentment be deep and abiding throughout 2013.
