INSPIRATION IN A LITTLE BOOK

Last week, I saw an interview with Danny Gregory on The Accidental Artist, with Heidi Easley. Danny was not an "artist" until he began drawing in his 30's, after his wife had a tragic accident, leaving her a paraplegic. (Their son was only 10 months old.)

This little book, Everyday Matters, is a memoir of the journey he found himself on after her accident. It is filled with the drawings he did to help him cope with an altered life, as well as the thoughts he had as he found new meaning in every day.

I also bought his book, Art Before Breakfast, and am looking forward to getting into that as well. I KNOW it will be inspiring, as it promises "a zillion ways to be more creative no matter how busy you are".

If you would like to check out Danny's blog, here is the link. But, be warned, you just might find yourself picking up a sketch book, and...drawing! :-)
