This is yet another creature in our Calgary Zoo. This Siberian Tiger is a very large cat, and he was pacing and roaring the day I saw him. I so wished that he could be in the wild, free to run and enjoy the wide open spaces.
In the Calgary Zoo, the animals have amazing enclosures. These cats have a great deal of space - enough that it takes about 10 minutes to walk around it...but there are still bars, and they are not free. Such beautiful cats!
