I actually "can" the things I grow in my garden. Here you see crabapples, dill pickles, apricot jam, crabapple jelly, peaches, and of course, garlic and tomato. I wonder if this is a lost art? Does anyone else out there do this any more?

Wow! I love the intensity of colours you've used here - the grouping of the jars is also beautifully done.

As for canning... I have the cans, I have the produce... alas, I have no time. I wish I did get back into it. Nothing tastes better in the middle of winter than home canned goods.
