Sunflower

The first time I grew sunflowers in my yard, I was quite pleased with how tall and healthy this one was, so I took a picture. The next morning, when I looked out the window, the entire head was gone and a big jack rabbit was merrily hopping around on my lawn. I have given up on growing sunflowers as both the rabbits and the deer eat them before they have a chance to fully develop. Sigh!
Collection of the artist.

I love this one! What a cheery face and soft petals. Your flowers are so beautiful.

I love the movement to this painting. The bursting petals lead the eye around the canvas in a very satisfying way.

Lovely piece, your florals are absolutely gorgeous, Joanne.

Thanks for dropping by my blog, Fon. I will definitely use your blog information about orchids as I was given one as a gift. See you next time.
