Joanne,

These are fabulous pieces...and look so serene. There are many artists enamored by coffee cups - it's neat to see how different each artist's work appears. Beautiful...and the website looks great, too. Good job.

I suddenly feel the urge to go and pour myself a cup of 'jo'. Perfect atmosphere for a breakfast nook, or indeed a coffee shop. I bet you could get a pile of commissions from some coffee houses. Could you do a sepia-tone one for my husband?

Thanks, Veronica! You are right - each artist has a unique way of looking at and representing things. I have some other cups and mugs that I want to do - all upcoming projects. Thanks for the feedback on my website. It was fun to put together. Keep checking as i put up photos and paintings that won't necessarily be on this blog. :-)

Hi Kim,
I see you enjoy that cup of coffee as I do! I would love to talk about doing something like this in sepia - that would be a very unique representation of coffee colored coffee cups. Let's talk... e-mail me and we will set something up. :-) Thanks.

I love the before and after painting that ends with the empty cups. Love the vibrant blue.

Thanks for visiting, Britt. I look forward to seeing more of your photography in the weeks ahead. Happy Spring!

Hi Paz! Thanks for stopping by my blog, and for your comments. I love your pictures of New York - and your doors were wonderful. Your pictures of pigeons are just amazing - the colors and detailing of the feathers... yup - amazing. Looking forward to seeing more of New York through your camera lens!

I'm trying to decide which is my favorite part on this... the intense orangey red of the flower or the glossy highlights inside the cup.

Its a toss up. I love all of this. :)

Joanne,
I love the coffee painting! I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one who has trouble photographing artwork. I still have to reshoot my mix! I also checked out your new website and just love it. It's easy to navigate and I like that. I'd love to add a link to your website on my website, with your permission of course. Good Job Girl!
