Art Studio Show Preparations

"Great Expectations" hung on wall

Baby Giraffe ready for viewing on my easel

Display Centre

Things are rolling along for my art studio show. I have 54 paintings in all for sale, and this weekend, my husband finished the display centre that he built out of lattice. It is beautiful! There are 3 panels which when put together create 6 stable surfaces upon which to showcase my work. I have hung 25 paintings on it, and we have positioned it so that the track lights in my studio are shining on the paintings. I am really pleased with how well this has worked out.

The rest of the paintings are hung on walls in my kitchen, living room, and hallway, or are on easels. The easels range in size from my large one which Baby Giraffe is on, to small ones that hold my 6" x 6" paintings.

I am planning on having some give-aways in connection with my studio show. I will be posting these on different days over the next 2 weeks - here on my blog, on Twitter, and on Facebook. You will want to make sure that you swing by here again to enter for a chance to win those!

As well, I will be posting a special link this week so that you can visit the page I have created which shows all the paintings and photos which will be for sale. I have some pre-show specials you might like to take advantage of which will be explained in this link.

If you have any questions about a particular painting you are interested in, e-mail me before the show...

It looks fantastic, Joanne! I know you're excited, but you must be exhausted as well! Such a lot of work! Best of luck - I hope you sell them all :)
