I am very pleased that this little piece is winging its way to a new collector in Africa! It will become a new part of his office decor. The richness of the bronze, browns and gold attracted his attention, and he just had to have this textured acrylic!
With this piece, I have collectors on 3 continents and in 7 countries! Yeah!!!
I am hoping to sell many of these textured acrylics in my art show coming up in November. Here is another one in similar style which I just completed. I used a new color which I received in my recent art order in the layering of paint on the textured canvas. This picture was taken in full sunlight to capture the glow. What do you think?

Hi Liana!
I have taken a bit of a break from watercolors and ventured into oils and mixed media. I am thinking about gallery representation, and most galleries shy away from watercolor paintings. It is expensive to mat and frame watercolors, and shipping costs/insurance are prohibitive. So I will be doing watercolor to sell in my home art show, and in the meantime I am experimenting - but still painting! Thanks for dropping by. :-)
