Almost done!

A number of weeks ago, I began this acrylic painting of boats. I didn't realize it would be a very long time before I got back to it. I have worked on it some more over the long weekend, and it is just about done. I have to detail the rocks in the background, and a few other little details, then it is completed. I sometimes wish I was on the island where I took this picture. It was such a beautiful place to be! Ocean just calls my name, and these boats were up on the hill from one of the harbours. The smell of the salt water, gulls crying, the lapping of water against the wharf - so peaceful and calming! Maybe another little vacation is in order. :-)
