HARLEY

Harley
original 9" x 12" pencil portrait

I have an incredibly busy week ahead of me with appointments and meetings. As well, 3 of my garden beds still need to be cleaned up from winter, and a vegetable garden planted. AND, we have company arriving today for a few days! All that to say I won't be posting again until the end of the week.
This pencil portrait is a "replacement". I did a portrait of Harley for his parents about 2 years ago when I knew very little about shading and working in pencil. I really wanted to replace the original for them, so this is the same pose, but done with my new understanding of representing the form in portrait. I hope they agree it is much better than the original! :-)
