Boats - a work-in-progress

I am still working on this painting. The red boat and the blue boat next to it are now completed. I did remove the tree branches in the right corner. They really bothered me, and seemed to distract from the boats.
This painting is taking a long time because it's all about glazing layer after layer to get the glow and depth of color that I want. As well, I am fussy about all of my edges. If I just slapped thick paint on and didn't care if it looked "right", I'd finish a lot faster, I know! But that's not who I am as an artist, so it goes slowly for me. :-)
I'll keep posting as it changes and gets closer to being done.
