New Watercolor in progress

This is the second of two commissioned watercolors of 3 generations fishing together. The first one is completed and framed, being 16.5" x 20.5" when framed. This one is smaller, and has the fishermen in different positions. The trees take f-o-r-e-v-e-r to do, so most of the time is spent placing them and making them look just right. I love doing the rocks - the colors are so wonderful! After I finish most of the water color, I will remove the masking of the white water, and work in color around that. Then the figures are unmasked and painted. After that, some adjustments and then it is done. So, I have a long way to go. :-)
