I am not sure how much painting I am going to be able to do over the next couple of weeks. I am looking after 3 of my grandchildren for just over a week, then my son-in-law is having surgery, friends are visiting from Vancouver, then I have my other 2 grandchildren for an extended weekend. It is a very full calendar. I did get this flower started. The background is done, and as I have time, I will work on it - the second white lily in 16" x 16" size. I love the shape it has on the canvas, and how the perspective is looking down into the bottom of the flower. Maybe I'll have more time to paint than I anticipate, or maybe it will come together more quickly than I think. We'll just have to see. :-)
