SUNFLOWER BLOSSOM

I must admit that I do enjoy painting sunflowers. They just seem to come alive as you paint them, and they tell you what they need. If you listen and  do what the painting tells you, then it seems that the painting "sings".

This little guy is now complete - and I love how there are so many lovely yet quirky leaves and petals. I have already begun another little blossom which was part of the bunch of sunflowers I bought and photographed a couple of weeks ago. Wait till you see how quirky that one is!!!
