Now THIS was fun! This is the pencil portrait I have just completed for the winner of my giveaway at my home art show in October. Everyone who attended the show put their name in a draw for a free pencil portrait of a person or a pet. 


Heather won the draw, but took some time to find just the right photo for the portrait. I absolutely LOVE that her son is just taking a big bite of the ice cream sandwich! He has a big dark hat on his head, and it is obviously summer...ahhh for the warmth of summer again!
