I am so very blessed to have friends who send me photos they think would make great paintings. This Baobab Tree is one such photo. I thank Kathy and Dedier (sorry if that is spelled incorrectly) for the gorgeous photo of this magnificent old African tree. One day I would love to go to Africa and see the fantastic scenery and wildlife. Maybe I should set that as one of my 5 year goals as an artist...to travel to Africa, go on a safari, and take tons of photos to paint when I return home. Hmmmmm...I'm liking the sound of that! :-)
