I am so blessed to live close to the Rocky Mountains! Kananasksis Country is less than an hour from my home, and we have spent quite a bit of time camping and hiking in the spectacular beauty of this Provincial Park of Alberta. This is an acrylic painting of one of the lakes we passed during a hike. I experimented with adding a resin sand to the rock formations to produce a texture that rises off the canvas. What fun!
