Pears

I have been visiting other artists' blogs and reading quite a bit about creating a painting-a-day. I know with my current schedule, I would be unable to do a painting each and every day, but I wanted to push myself to try it at least once. "Pears" took me slightly longer - more like 2 days - but I am pleased with the results. I wish the photos actually showed the burnished glow that this 9" x 12" has when hanging on the wall! I think I might try another painting-in-2-days next week.
If you would like to buy this painting or commission something similar, please contact me.

Oh wow! There is such a sunset luminousity to this!

Very well done - especially knowing what kind of time crunch a painting in a day or two can be.

Keep it up - I can't wait to see more!

Whoa! I love this piece! I love the colors, they exude warmth. I wish it was huge so that it could be the focal point of an entire room. I could see someone decorating with this painting as inspiration. So lovely!
