I have recently watched the movie "Georgia O'Keeffe". So many artists who created new work, never seen before in the world of art, had such difficult or tortured lives! The movie apparently has attempted to remain true to what is known of her life, which was twisted with love triangles which impacted on her work and her fame.
I love the way Georgia O'Keeffe saw the world and represented it on canvas! She was a true pioneer in so many ways. A current exhibition of her abstract work is being shown in the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, including many privately owned works which have not been exhibited before.
