| Pond Lilies original watercolor 8.5" x 11' |
Last year, during our annual sibling vacation, we were golfing on a beautiful course in Ontario. At one point, we crossed a pond on a wooden bridge, and when I happened to glance down, I saw these beautiful water lilies, grasses and logs. I grabbed my camera, and took several pictures. I am sure people were wondering what I saw that was worthy of taking a picture, but I loved the wood, moss, reflections in the water, and the arrangement of the lilies. So, here it is - my rendition of that moment in watercolor on 140 lb Arches cold pressed paper.
